iphone 11 showing as (8)

I noticed this while airdropping photos to Mac. Checked the model and it says

Name: iPhone (8)

Model Name: iPhone 11

Is this normal?

Hello,

Go to Settings > General > About > Name and type in a new name where it indicates iPhone (8).

It may take awhile for the update to be reflected on your Mac. It should update on its own after awhile.
