OS, Final Cut and Compressor just updated..All was working just fine last week now when I send a project to Compressor I get a Missing Plugin error..I saw the older posts but not a resolution..Help!

You don’t see this in FCP? Use a Compressor preset in FCP until you can find out what’s going on.
Same message no matter what setting/ preset I use..No error in FCP
You’re using the Compressor preset in FCP? Where in FCP do you see it?
Well I can share directly from FCP..File>Share>Apple Device 1080p..but still cant using any preset in Compressor
use Add Destination. In the dialog find Compressor setting and drag it to the sidebar. Select the setting you want. It will be available in the FCP Share menu.
Ok that seems to have worked...Thanks...Is there any long term solution to the plugin problem when exporting to Compressor..?.
Hard to tell without knowing what kind of plugin it is. Could be anything. What plugins are being used in FCP?
How would I determine that?
Plugins can be effects, transitions, titles, they can be playback plugins. LUTs are usually plugins.
Would reinstalling Compressor maybe help?..
Probably not if you just updated. You could do it and see.
