Remote Management software

I have no clue how this has happened but my iPad mini 5th Get has now got Remote Management software on it. I RESET it to sell it but now the Remote Management software has popped up and wants a login and password that I don't have and have never had!! The Remote Manage software is from a NHS department!! I have spoken with that department and they don't know what is going on!!

Any help appreciated.

The presence of a management profile indicates that the device is centrally managed by an Enterprise or Educational establishment.  Perhaps you inadvertently triggered an auto-enrolment when connecting to a WiFi network that you were visiting?


Devices that are configuration locked by an MDM platform can usually only be released from central management by the platform that manages the device. Be aware that Apple will not assist with removal of management profiles.


Unless you are lucky - and have the option to delete the profile from iPad Settings - you’ll need to seek assistance directly from the System Administrator who manages the device.
