Can I use my Canadian iPhone SE in Egypt

Your current carrier might have an International plan option that you could use. Basically, for a fee of about 10 dollars a day, your current plan can be used internationally.

I use this type of plan with AT&T, and it has been flawless. It's really nice to know that the phone will "just work" wherever I travel.

Staying with your current carrier......if they have an international option...... is by far the simplest way to go, so you might want to check with your current carrier to see what options they might have.
