I tried sending mail yesterday and its not in draft, not in bin or junk or sent mail. In the bottom left hand corner is a tine area saying Sending Message 212.1 MB - that's not the size of the document i tried to send. How can I stop this or clear this sending message any idea?

There should be an Outbox folder - you can delete it there.
