app store won't update apps

I updated to Monterey 12.6 on my Mac. I cannot update apps because my app store won't open.

What happens when you tap App Store from the Dock or from the Launchpad (the rocket in the Dock)?

Check the status of your network on Mac

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services
