Missing email

I accidentally hit the circle at the bottom of my email and all emails except for two went away. I wasn’t finished with the ones that disappeared. How do I get them back?

Look in the trash, (or archive?) the missing eMails may be there.

Delete and recover emails in Mail on iPhone – Apple Support

says:

"Recover a deleted email

1. Tap in the upper-left corner, then tap an account’s Trash mailbox.
2. Tap the email you want to recover, then tap .
3. Tap Move Message, then choose another mailbox".
