iPhone 8 stopped connecting to the internet

Iphone 8 running 15.6 stopped connecting to the internet yesterday. Same problem with two different nets. Tried resetting, shutting down, everything suggested but no luck. No success. My iPad still connects. Settings says I'm connected but it does not work. Nor is there an internet symbol on the home screen. Any ideas? Much appreciate your help.

Check the Service & Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.


You can update your iPhone to iOS 16.0.3.
