I understand that you will have two active SIMs on your iPhone. One Physical SIM and one eSIM. I also understand that the carriers associated with each SIM will be different.
When you choose the eSIM for data, then the Physical SIM will be available to make and receive calls.

I need to use the physical SIM place for a foreign carrier SIM card which only allows 5G to receive calls for me in US. Will it be available (connecting to 5G) when I choose the eSIM for data?
