Ventura ios not working well with bluetooth mouse... sluggish... double and tripple clicking ?

OSX discovery seems to be a problem with some bluetooth mice. I can't discover a Legion M600 BT mouse at all.
Magic Mouse and 2019 MacBook Pro for me. Doesn't respond well to scrolling either.
