How can i re-install iTunes on my Mac.

I have OS Ventura 13.6 but when I try to install iTunes say "This update requires macOS version 10.13.99 or earlier".
but my OS is updated.
How I can fix this problem?
I've found Retroactive is flawless on Intel-based Macs (including with Ventura), but on the new MBP I just bought running Ventura on an M2, it's full of flaws and won't recognize my iPod. Hopefully they'll find a fix before long.

If retroactive does not allow iTunes to work properly, then it is up to them to fix the problem. Like it or not, you should consider using the music app which has been designed for MacOS Catalina or newer.

Jim -- when you say you like to download music into your library...how exactly do you mean??? From the Internet??? Or from a CD or something???? I mean...if it's from, say, the store, you can still do that. On the sidebar there's a "Store" submenu with a single option: "iTunes Store." You don't need to subscribe to Apple Music to do that.
The problem is that the iPad is only displaying the itunes icon along with the connection cable image. So I cannot access anything on that iPad. That’s why I need a solution that can be executed at first from the MacBook
Agreed. I've just posted my own question, because the lack of iTunes actually makes my laptop entirely useless to me:
"I've just bought a MacBook Air, and need to figure out how to move my iTunes library from my Windows computer over. My library is more than 1TB, it has over 1000 playlists, and every single thing is synced to my phone through it, it's backed up through my computer (the backup is ~100GB). I almost exclusively use my laptop for the purpose of managing my phone, and as my old laptop was around 10 years old I needed to upgrade, and thought that moving my laptop to the same digital ecosystem would be a good idea. Apparently not, as it appears that I cannot use it for the sole purpose for which I need it.
I have tried Retroactive, but the library version is too recent for it to work. I have tried porting in my playlists, but it didn't copy in my music and instead tried to download it all (it's on an external hard drive as the library is too big to have it on my laptop).
Please help, it's looking like I spent $1500 for a useless paperweight."
ok
Can't download from apple store without itunes account; can't create itunes account on Ventura. Now what? Wait for new version of itunes?
Then, how are you supposed to sync files between apps from the computer to the iPhone? Edit: Disregard. Found out everything is done through the finder app.
