Safari issues

I have multiple sites that will no longer open in Safari Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.12) but open fine in Opera. This is not acceptable. From the nature of the sites that don't function, it looks like censorship, but could just be crappy programming. I hate to stop using Safari, because it's convenient in the Apple ecosphere, but if it doesn't work correctly..... I've already tried the typical remedies. There used to be an easy way in Safari to report non functioning links, but I don't see it anymore.

If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected - Apple Support has a number of suggestions. Follow all of them, even if they seem obvious or trivial.
