My iPhone 12 pro max is sending me a message saying that my camera might not be a genuine Apple camera, but I’ve never had a repair done on this phone, what should I do?

My iPhone 12 pro max is sending me a message saying that I might now I have a genuine Apple camera, I’ve had this phone for two years and it has never been repaired, what should I do?

Who's the Seller?:

Contact the seller. Ask them if the iSight camera they placed in there is a replaced camera is genuine. If the seller is Apple, however,, then you need to contact Apple Support, and inform them of this issue, as it may be a defective camera.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
