EXC_BAD_ACCESS on Ventura Update 13.0.1

Hello everyone,

I can not install the latest Ventura Update 13.0.1. I am running Ventura 13.0 and every time I try to update, the softwareupdate process crashes with EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

I already tried to run the update in Safe Mode with the same result. I also checked my Mac with Cmd+D from the boot menu. No errors were found. Anyone any idea?

Regards

Marco

Hi evilmon,

If you are unable to update your macOS, follow the additional steps in If an error occurred while updating or installing macOS. The addition steps int his article include:

  1. Install after repairing your disk
  2. Install from macOS Recovery
  3. Install after erasing your Mac

Take care.
