Can I use a 27" iMac as a screen with my Mac mini?
Hi i have a good imac 27 can i use it as a screen for a apple mini?

We cannot give a definite response without your giving us the sub-models of each—the bit with a year and possibly Early, Mid, or Late appended. from "About this Mac..."

The iMac must be Late 2009 through Mid 2014; if 2009 or 2010, it must be a 27-inch model.
The Mac sending the video signal to a TDM-supported iMac—in your case, a Mac Mini—must be 2019 or older and running no higher macOS that 10.15 Catalina.
M-series Minis are not supported.
Even if you have supported devices, the cost of some cable and adapter combos required can approach the cost of a new free-standing monitor. A regular external monitor with be more reliable, easier to set up, allow more options, and will use less energy. TDM was never a great solution, and it's now dead tech.
