remove shadow behind app name iPadOS16

How do you remove the annoying drop shadow behind app names on the Home screen? There is a similar question on this from iOS that only applies to the iPhone since the Wallpaper command is different between the two devices.

This should be changed, should never have been implemented, and there should ALWAYS be user input on, and ability to turn off visual interface changes of this nature. Looks horrible, way too large and dark, and doesn’t do anything for contrast. This should be in the Accessibility settings and not default.
