Why does the background on my iPhone turn to black after I use the search feature for an app? I prefer my wallpaper to be the background.

I figured it out, I had to create a new wallpaper with the photo I had originally used. It will now keep the photo instead of turning to a black background. For some reason, I couldn’t use the original wallpaper setting.
