iPhone apps not updating automatically anymore

If you haven’t already, turn on Automatic Updates in Settings > General > Software Update. Make sure there is Wi-Fi connected and the device is plugged in if you’re still having issues. If automatic updates still aren’t working, you can restart the device and try again or update the OS manually.

I've been doing all updates manually, since the auto feature broke in ios 16.x.x. Doing the ios 16.1.2 update now. Maybe they fixed it with this one.
