“SOS via satellite” option is missing.

I just got an iPhone 14 Pro, and the “SOS via satellite” option is not available in the Emergency SOS settings. It simply doesn’t exist.

I’m currently on iOS 16.1.2.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max is missing the Satellite SOS feature. I’ve upgraded to iOS’s 16.1, 16.1.1 and now 16.1.2. The feature is not in settings:Emergency SOS. It appears it WAS NOT “pushed to my phone as it was to others’ Has anyone else had this experience? Did you resolve? How? Additional info: I live in Montana,USA Verizon is my carrier iPhone was set up as new, not from a back up. Updates were all successful, done “over-the-air” I have no other issues with my phone. I have a support case but Apple seems to have no clue or care I am missing this feature. Why tell the public this feature has been released in the US & Canada when it is clearly not available to all or even working in the entire Continental US?

Emergency SOS is not available in all countries yet. So that could be the problem

I'm in the US, and as I understand it, there should be an option at the bottom of the Emergency SOS tab in Settings?
