I tried to add funds in my apple id, but monies got deducted & no amount is added. What to do

It is possible to add money and see a balance of less than you added if you had a debt because of previous purchases. Also note that it can take a finite amount of time for transactions to clear so you may not see the deposit immediately.


Try checking your balance using the instructions provided in this document --> Check your Apple Account balance - Apple Support


You might have seen funds deducted from your account and no amount added if the deposit had not yet cleared but you had made a purchase and that cleared first.


If you still have questions or problems:


Contact Apple. Click here --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
