Also, some steps to try would be having apple open up a support ticket with their software development team so that way they can fix the bug instead of having all of their customers do 30 troubleshooting steps that ultimately do not resolve the software issue.

Hello Lindameehan828,

It seems like when you use dictation in Messages, you will get duplicate sentences, right? Does this happen only in Messages? Are you seeing this in Notes as well? Start with the basics, go to Settings > General > Keyboard. Turn off Dictation and restart your iPhone. Sometimes a restart can help resolve issues. After the restart, turn back on Dictation and see if it still occurs.

Which iOS version are you currently using? Have you checked to make sure you're using the newest version of iOS?

Update your iPhone or iPad

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."
