The contents of my mail in all boxes disappears for minutes and then sudden reappears. The sidebar with initial words remains OK. This is for Mac mail on Monterey

Start by navigating in Mail >> Preferences >> Privacy tab and untick any or ALL option in below image

Still issues after a reasonable length of time to Test

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

Changing the Privacy settings did not work. I started up in Safe Mode which made the mail problem OK. But returning to Normal Mode did not work (though I thought it had at first). I presume this means one of my (very few) third-party apps is the problem. So I will have to work my way through them disabling each in turn.
