iPhone Albums

I know how to move pictures from Recents to my albums, but they still stay in Recents. How do I move them so they don't still show up in Recents? I have a XR iPhone.

Recents includes all photos. When you move them to an album, you are in fact tagging them to appear in a second location. There is no way around this.
