How do I reset my apple watch?

I have an iWatch 3 completely unpaired from my phone and will not pair or reset?? I do not get a red dot after holding the digital crown??

Series 3 Watches are relatively low on internal memory

Make sure your iPhone is up to date to 16.1.1 or later or 15.7.1 if iPhone 7 or older.

Force restart the watch...

i.e. press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

Erase the watch completely....

i.e. Settings, General, reset, Erase all content and settings.

Re-pair the Watch without restoring the backup.
