iTunes remote iPhone App

Has anyones remote app for controlling the Apple Music App broken? It won't pair.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

If you open iTunes Remote > Settings > Add a media library you should get a screen with a four digit code. My device showed up in the sidebar of the Music app when I did that. If you don't see it try rebooting both devices then try again.

Just tried and mine seems to be paired via Home Sharing in Monterey. I cannot forget any remotes under Preferences > Advanced. In Ventura I had to add the remote with the old school method of pairing and entering a four digit key.

In Ventura it won’t even pair manually.

I have left it for a few days and miraculously it now appears and connects. Very strange. Thank you so much for the help.
