Family Sharing vs apple One individual vs apple one family

So my husband, son and I have family sharing set up, we subscribe and share Apple Music and apple iCloud storage. Now I keep getting emails about changing to apple one but does that mean we would have to get the apple one family? Or can you family share the apple one individual bundle? If you can’t family share the apple one individual bundle then it’s cheaper just to share the individual subscriptions. Am I understanding this right?

You cannot share the Apple One Individual bundle no.

The Apple One Family bundle includes more than just Apple Music and iCloud Storage.

Depending on what iCloud storage option you have, it may or may not be cheaper or around the same price, but you get 2 more subscriptions in addition to Music and iCloud Storage.
