How do I get to the battery on my iPhone 3GS I got it off eBay saying that it has a faulty battery 🪫 and it needs repairing but I don’t know where to get one from and the cost 💲

Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all.
An iPhone 3G is effectively useless at this point. The carriers have shut down their 3G networks and require VoLTE capable devices to use them on their networks. There are also virtually no apps available any more that will run on that device.
