iMac connection to Benq

Hi, can you connect a Benq monitor to a IMac and what cable would I need?

Hi Finners110, Yes you can connect a Benq monitor to an iMac, and that depends on what video input connections the monitor has..... and the output connectors on the iMac, which to some degree depend on the year it was made...

anyways, see this common video connector chart, and that'll tell you what you have on the back of your iMac and the back of your Benq monitor... If you knew the exact model number of the monitor it would have the video interfaces/connectors listed on its web page.... . John B
