Quicktime Player 'Duplicate' greyed out in OS Ventura

Has anyone else experienced this? 'Duplicate' is greyed out on the QT Player in Ventura. (I'm trying to make a copy of QT to record two streams of video at the same time.) Works just fine in Monterey (I can make multiple copies of QT), but in Ventura, no luck..keyboard shortcuts to dupe QT in Ventura don't work either.

Thank you for any advice.

Phil

Actually - To follow up. The M1 Laptop tried at Melrose Mac had the same issue ('Duplicate' QuickTime player greyed out). My son was the one who took his laptop in and just confirmed that his M1 and the M1 at the store had the identical issue. So either it's a bug in the M1 Laptops, or Apple has disabled 'duplicate' in the QuickTime Player
