No, because there are no carriers in Algeria that support eSIM; all local carriers require a physical SIM, and US phones do not have a SIM card slot. A phone purchased anywhere else in the world will have a SIM slot and should work in Algeria.

Algeria is not listed in the eSim article at the top of the page, so a U.S. iPhone 14 will not work since it is eSim use only.
