Half globe icon showing on iPhone

My iPhone X developed an issue with the globe icon and now I can’t change language. This is an essential feature for me and google brings up others who have the same issue but I can’t find a solution. Can you help?

Double tap the screen with three fingers. If it shrinks then you have Zoom turned on in Settings, Accessibility.
