Battery shortcut automation

How can I get a shortcut to run automatically without me triggering it on MacOS? I set up a shortcut to notify me when my MacBook hits 20% battery but it wouldn't run without me triggering it to check the battery life.

Scheduling a Shortcut:

I. Add this as a login item. That may be the only way to get this to work on a schedule timeframe.

  1. Go To: System Preferences
  2. Select: Users & Groups
  3. Click: This user name
  4. Click: Login Items
  5. Click: "+" button
  6. Select: [This Item]

II. Create an AppleScript App:

Using AppleScript, create a code, create the App, and then run the app. That might do the trick. I've created one that opens as a Login Item. It mutes it at every login. So, that's the only way you may be able to do this. Ask here: Apple Developer Fourms
