hotspot symbol instead of wifi

I keep getting the hotspot symbol instead of WiFi when I connect to a secure one, on my 14 pro. The WiFi symbol works perfectly well with the 13. This issue cropped up a week back. Any ideas on why this may be?

I have a personal WiFi network at home, which is also passport protected. Could you tell me what other details you need? This is what comes up for me..
