Apple Watch Workouts not showing on Activity App

My Apple Watch activities aren’t showing on the iPhone activity app. I just finished a hike, and it didn’t show on the activity app on my phone but does show on my watch. I went home and did a workout on Fitness+ and it again showed on my watch but not my phone.

The calories are showing, the rings are closing, and I can see it in my health app, but not the activity app.

iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch 8. Both up to date.

Thanks!

Hello!

I've tried that to no avail. I’ve also verified the privacy settings, updated iOS, and closed apps and turned both devices on and off again.

I’ve noticed that my previous workouts are also missing now. The activity app isn’t showing any previous workout, they’re all in the health app, but not the activity app.

Stranger still, my friends can see my activity on the app, like when I finish a workout.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
