AirDrop 'waiting' from iPad to Mac

My macbook pro is 'waiting' for airdrop and won't transfer from my iPad. My iPad airdrops to my iPhone OK

If I understood your post correctly, you can AirDrop from your iPad to your iPhone, but not to your Mac ... correct?

Thanks for the link. I changed the settings on my MacBook to 'everyone' and the airdrop worked fine. I assumed it was something with my apple login, but when I reset the airdrop to 'contacts' it continued to work. My apple login has been behaving oddly so I'll check through tomorrow. Thanks again.
