I’m not sure what all the other people are talking about but I think I understand your question and if I do then the easiest way to Accomplish this would be to go to settings: from settings, open Wi-Fi: from there click on the Wi-Fi network your currently connected to and open it up: then you simply long press on the password section that looks something like this:
password:**********
upon long pressing the above section, the hidden password should magically appear briefly.
hope that helps:)

You need to sign in to your router, see -> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support
The Wi-Fi network name, or SSID (service set identifier), is the name your network.
And every Wi-Fi network name has a Password.
So sign in in the router and check.
Or see -> If you need help with your Wi‑Fi password

To do that, the OP/Author (jorgen226) should have installed iOS 16 or later version on his iPhone but, reading his product list (iPhone 6s, which cannot support iOS versions past 15.7.2 because of hardware limits), he can't do that.
Giulio
Unfortunatly your iPhone model cannot support iOS 16 nor use this simple procedure:--> Find your saved Wi-Fi passwords on iPhone or iPad
Regards
Giulio
Oops, Raicya, my reply had to be addressed to the Author (jorgen226), not to you. Sorry, my fault.
