You will want to go to settings. This article gives instructions on how to do so: Check your iCloud storage on any device - Apple Support


“Check your iCloud storage on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
  2. The bar graph shows your overall storage usage.
  3. Tap Manage Account Storage or Manage Storage for more details.
  4. Below the graph, you see a list of apps and features and how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can tap an app or feature for more information.“

You’ll want to go to iCloud backups. This article guides you through finding and managing them:View and manage iCloud device backups - Apple Support


You should delete unwanted backups as shown below.


“View and manage iCloud backups on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • iOS 16, iPadOS 16, or later: Tap iCloud Backup.
    • iOS 15, iPadOS 15, or earlier: Tap Manage Storage, then tap Backups.
  1. You see the devices with iCloud Backup turned on.
  2. To delete a backup, tap the name of a device, then tap Delete & Turn Off Backup (or Delete Backup).“
