how to remove pictures folder from wallpaper settings

I just updated to ventura. I always use a specific folder for desktop pics. My main pictures folder is a mishmash of cell shots, screenshots etc so i don't want that used. Most oft them are not wallpaper worthy. Previously i just removed it from the wallpaper section.. but in Ventura i cannot remove the pictures folder.

I hovered over it - no X = there IS one for the specialty folder i have been using (desktop pics)

how to remove the folder from being used in wallpaper??
