This is hard to explain. When I need to upload pictures from Google photo for eBay as an example it will only allow the iPad photo gallery pictures. I’ve had two new iPads two new android phones and the same annoying issue.

Why is eBay and Good photos an Apple issue? You find it annoying then contact eBay or Google and let them know.

That sounds weird. Are you using a Mac? This is the Mac Photos Forum, and you don't mention the Mac. I wonder of a Screenshot would help make it clearer...

Not an ipad issue since it can get photo from your camera roll. If ebay doesn't see your google photos again it has nothing to do with Apple.
Please talk to their support and then come back and tell me it a useless answer.
