I have been using the HomePods to control my central heating with no problems until now.
It is telling me I can set it up with the Home app but I already had.
I do not see a way to remind Siri that it is connected to my thermostat.
Why has it forgotten and how can I 'remind' it?
(This is fairly important since it is not going to switch the heating off when I leave.)

If you go into the Home settings on an iPhone or iPad [or Mac] and change the name of any of your connected HomeKit devices, it pushes a refresh to the HomePod and fixes the glitch.
This has been working for most people. Give it a minute after the change to sync over to the other devices. When I did it I also turned the device on/off a few times. Seems to have resolved it for now.

If your heating is from another vendor, like Tado or similar you should be able to control it using the vendors apps. Mine still work directly, just not via HomeKit
My heating is Honeywell. Or Residio as they call their app.
Works fine on iPad, Mac, Watch and iPhone. Just not the HomePods.
I got used to saying "Hey Siri turn the temperature up". And now I just get that rude answer.
Thanks Jonathan. I have tried that but it has not helped. But think mine is not just HomePods, but seems to have screwed my iCloud homekit config so I can't access from any device!
