Does anybody have a problem like this?

When I copy (command+C) a selected text or figure in a PDF document in preview, the other part of document becomes erased like a crop. It happens time to time, not always.

Any solution? Or is it a mac problem? I feel like my new macbook pro(2021, 14") is not like the one before (2010, 13") in term of stability.

—A SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Login and test, a reboot will put it back to normal mode and test

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.1
