What is best way to restore Inbox in Apple Mail?

Three or four days ago my Inbox disappeared. I navigate mailboxes in Mail using the sidebar. I have tried quitting and reopening mail and rebuilding Mail - so far no change. I have many folders and subfolders in Mail that I use to organize those emails I keep.

I tried restoring Mail database from Time Machine. That didn't change anything except a lot needed to be downloaded again.

I'm not sure what I did to make it go away. Perhaps some dragged into another folder - but I can't find the inbox in any other folder. Also I still have the various inboxes for the email servers I use (gmail, iCloud, etc.)

I don't think I am missing any mail.

I am running MacOs 13.1 Ventura.

Should I just create a new folder called inbox?

Thanks for any suggestions
