Repairing iPad

does the person that the Apple ID is under have to bring it into repair or can someone else bring it?

Someone else can bring it in, but for repair it should be removed from the person's Apple ID and Find My be turned off anyway or at least have the Apple ID and its password handy.


If the device cannot be accessed directly, it can be removed from the account from iCloud.com by following the steps here ➡️ Remove a device from Find Devices on iCloud.com - Apple Support
