my iMac 2012 runs perfectly well but will no longer upgrade to latest OS Ventura

I can't upgrade my OS Catalina 10.15.7 to the later OS Ventura. Because of this, Microsoft Office isn't upgrading and OUTlook has stopped working. My iMac 27" machine runs perfectly well otherwise and I don't see why I should have to purchase a new machine for this reason. I also own a MacBook Air but like to use my desktop when I'm in my office. Is there a workaround?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Catalina 10.15.7 is the highest macOS that a 2012 iMac supports and there is nothing that anyone can do to change that.
