how do I send an email with a email image in the body of the email and NOT a icon

If the image is a camera RAW image (e.g. DNG, NEF, ARW, etc.) there is no means to make it viewable as an image in Apple Mail. If it is a regular image type (e.g. png, jpg, tiff, etc.) it should attach with its image view, not as an icon.


What you see before you send the email is an aesthetic as you have no control over how the recipients email client will present that image.
