To "Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple" click on this link --> Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

To check the status of a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple, and how long it takes to receive a refund, read this support article --> Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

After you request a refund you'll receive a status update by email within 48 hours. If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

● Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.

● Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

● All other payment methods [e.g., credit or debit cards]—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution."

If you need to contact Apple about this, click on this link --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support and choose a path that gets assistance from Apple staff.

It appears you have already solved your issue.

I copy and paste because people just ask the same 30 questions several hundred times per day. If you look carefully you will see that my earlier response actually provides the information your requested, namely how to check the status, to contact your financial institutions, and how to contact Apple if you think you really need to. Nobody here actually works for Apple so there is nothing we can do other than to guide users.

If Apple cannot refund it to the credit card then they will refund it as account balance credit. As for the refund to the credit card, have you contacted your bank? I do not know the details of how this as done but once Apple issues a refund that "30 days" part probably means if you are waiting for a credit card statement. I would think it would actually be credited earlier but you would have to be proactive about checking with the card company. In any case, you should check with the card company first. I am guessing Apple told them a month ago to credit you and if they didn't then you'll have to start investigating. Again, I would start with the card company first, then Apple.
