Can you stop apps auto aligning on the Home Screen and just put them where you want

Apps move automatically so it’s hard to setup the Home Screen as you want it

You cannot disable the “auto alignment” behavior on the iPhone. You can suggest this feature directly to Apple by leaving a product feedback here 👉 Product Feedback - Apple
