I’ve been having issues with my yahoo mail account on my iPhone and iPad. When I try to retrieve my mail many times it will state on my screen: “cannot connect to server”. I have updated my phone, changed my password on my yahoo account, deleted my yahoo account from my iPhone, reset my iPhone to see if that help with the issue and am still having issues. Help please!

It usually means that you've lost a connection, or have a slow connection, with your Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Are you using the standard/default email connection to Yahoo?
