Significant difference between image and video

There is a significant difference between the photo and video mode, meaning that photo images are much darker whereas when you switch to video mode the display and output are more sharper and the brightness levels are very good. I don't know why photo mode and images are darker than the videos and video mode.

Double check to see whether you have a specific filter mode set on the Camera app to take photos.

Open the Camera app:

  • Tap the arrow icon at the top center of the screen.
  • A menu will appear above the shutter button with some adjustment options. 
  • Tap the icon that looks like a 3-circle Venn diagram 
  • You will be presented with ten options; nine photo filters and original.  
  • Ensure that ORIGINAL is selected in the filters.
