How to upgrade to Apple TV 4K with Wi-Fi + Ethernet without affecting HomeKit?

I'm about to upgrade a first generation Apple TV unit that is currently hosting HomeKit and want to know how to do it without messing up our configuration which includes the Logitech Circle View Doorbell, Lutron Caseta, ecobee, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

HomeKit is not located on the Apple TV box (instead in iCloud), so there isn’t anything to transfer.

For a smooth transition, activate One Home Screen on the older model, then set up the new unit. You should be asked to also use One Home Screen on the new one, effectively copying apps and settings.
